I bought a custom PC from Aftershock and unfortunately the experience has been very disappointing. Specs & Transparency I was sold a system with a PCIe Gen 5 GPU paired with a Gen 4 motherboard slot. Only later did I learn that this mismatch means the GPU runs at Gen 4 speeds. It doesn’t affect today’s gaming performance much, but the marketing around “Gen 5” felt misleading. Build & Delivery I paid for “express” service, but my build (finished Thursday morning) sat until Monday night before being shipped. The courier didn’t deliver on weekends, which wasn’t disclosed. Customer Service When I reached out with concerns, staff were dismissive and unwilling to help. Missing Items I asked them to include the boxes for my GPU/CPU for warranty and resale purposes, plus the stock Wraith cooler I had upgraded from. They promised they would, but these items were not in the box. Overall, I feel misled and let down. The PC itself runs fine, but the lack of transparency, poor service, and broken promises leave me unable to recommend Aftershock. I wouldn’t want others especially less tech-savvy buyers to go through the same experience
