I was preparing for my first coast to coast ride and brought myself a new to me road bike that I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. Dubious at first but I thought for the price there really was nothing to lose. You will need someone to help with measurements, getting them right is super important. It probably took us 40mins to get all the measurements pop them into the best bike advice and receive our report. Instantly on reading i knew it was talking some sense because of how i had felt when riding. We got to altering the bike which actually was some quite substantial changes and i had to order a new stem. First longer test ride i noticed everything seemed fine apart from some pain in my hands, when i got back i contacted best bike advice who requested photos of me on the bike and then advised some rotation changes to the bars. I did these, another test ride and all seemed ok and then last week my C2C. The bike was perfect and no hand pain. Give it ago, yes you have to pay a very small amount for knowledge. Its a hell of a lot cheaper than an in person fit for those of us who are not professional athletes but want to try and get the best from ourselves. I may well give it ago with my MTB to.
