WARNING: Unreliable Service and Predatory 3-Year Contract
My experience with Verizon Connect was deeply unsatisfactory, spanning a painful, forced three-year contract that proved to be a complete waste of money. The core service itself was highly unreliable. The primary feature I needed—the ability to reliably check the history of my vehicle's movements—was consistently non-functional or impossible to access. The system failed to provide basic, expected functionality, rendering the entire tracking service useless for its intended purpose. The most frustrating aspect of this experience was the contract length and the company's rigid enforcement. Despite the service being completely unreliable and non-functional from my perspective, I was essentially forced to stay and pay for three painful years. Paying for a broken service for such an extended period is unacceptable, and prospective customers should be extremely wary of this lengthy commitment. I strongly advise against signing up for Verizon Connect. The product does not deliver on its promises, and the multi-year contract locks you into paying for a service that is, in my experience, totally worthless.
