Wisey

BEWARE- deceptive marketing

BEWARE. Wisey have deceptive advertising and marketing. My partner saw an ad for a $9.99 usd trial month and signed up. The subscription process was deceptive as he unknowingly subscribed to a $17.50 E-book. Wisey argued that all the information was there but agreed that it could go unnoticed. So when a larger sum than expected was taken from his account he didn’t know what it was for, panicked, unsubscribed and assumed it was all done. Then three weeks later another $45 usd was taken from his account. He had not unsubscribed from the ebook that he was unaware he had subscribed to in the first place. This was sad because it my partner was seeking help with ironing out adhd issues and this tipped him into an anxiety slide and it kept him awake at night, stressed him out even more than normal life usually does, and it was meant to be helping him. He felt shame that he had failed at this subscription process. It has taken a lot of my time, and some really long repetitive emails. But they have finally agreed to refund the $45 ebook subscription payment.. for a while there I didn’t think they would. My partner is still out of pocket and was charged more than he had expected to pay. If you have read this far, and are considering a Wisey trial, my advise is be very careful what you sign up for and check their terms and conditions, they are pretty crazy.
