Speediance GM2 along with customer service FTW
After doing a fair amount of research comparing the 2nd Gen Speediance Gym Monster 2 Family Plus and Tonal, I happily decided to go with Speediance for the following reasons: The Rower Attachment: This was the biggest selling point for me. I’ve really wanted a rower, and having that integrated option sealed the deal (not available with Tonal) Free-Standing Design: I have a specific spot for the gym at home and didn't want to deal the hassle of wall-mounting. Customer Service: The support team is phenomenal. I worked with Andrew, who responded to my initial email within a couple of hours. He helped me finalize the order, answered all my questions about accessories, and even offered an unprompted discount code. It was a 10/10 interaction. A few accessories were on backorder and were not delivered along with the GM2 and I reached out to Andrew to check on their status; Andrew tracked down the status and followed up with my promptly. I've been super impressed by the customer service. Delivery & Setup: I opted for the White Glove service because my gym is on the second floor. Two people arrived, moved the machine upstairs, set it up very quickly, and took away all the packaging to throw away. It was totally easy and stress-free. The Workouts: The built-in programs are a great starting point, but I’ve found the machine to be very versatile. I’ve actually been using AI (Gemini and ChatGPT) to create custom workout plans based on the movements available on the Speediance (but that seems like a lot of work for me right now, but i like having that option) Overall, I'm super happy with the purchase and looking forward to staying motivated with the Speediance Facebook community!
