Everything worked perfect in Mauritius!
I used the eSIM "Travel eSIM for Africa (30 countries)" on my Google Pixel 8 Pro for Mauritius. The setup was easy by just scanning the QR code. The local provider was myt (Mauritius Telekom / Orange) which seems to be the best one. I've had nearly everywhere reception and could use my phone just like at home. I could even provide a local hotspot for my wife since she had problems with her esim (different provider).
