Better U wasn’t a “bad” experience, but it was an emotionally confusing one. I wish the expectations, structure, and pricing had been clearly explained from the start. Some of the communication I received felt defensive at moments when I was simply trying to understand what I was paying for and what support was actually included. When you’re already vulnerable and seeking help, tone matters — and the lack of clarity made the process feel heavier than it needed to be. They did try to fix things later, but the early miscommunication shaped the whole experience. I now work with MindScape. Their process has been clearer, more clinical, and about one‑third the price of Better U.
