Instacart customer service leaves much to be desired
On July 2nd the Instacart server went down for hours while I was shopping two orders @ Aldi's in Minnesota. I contacted customer service and was put on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes while I attempted to text instacart as well, but to no avail. I alerted both my customers to the situation although they understood they were not happy. Consequently I had to abandon the order and hoped that I would get compensated. I received an email later that day stating that they would pay for my shopping and give me a $10 bonus for my troubles. Instacart only paid me a $10 bonus and that was it. I tried to call but they do not answer their help line so I had to text Instacart to receive my money for the shopping on July 2nd. I was told that the $10 bonus was all I should expect and that Instacart apologizes for the inconvenience. I took a screenshot of the email Instacart sent me and sent it back to them as proof of compensation they were supposed to pay me, I was told to have a nice day....end chat. I am fed up with these cowards not living up to what they say they would do. It took me an hour to get to the location an hour and a haft to shop, an hour to get back home, all for a lousy $10 dollars. Shoppers Beware the BS is real.
