Expensive Electronic Waste with Poor Support
I purchased the Monport 70W Mega The machine is advertised with intelligent auto-focus, built-in camera preview, high precision, and easy compatibility with LightBurn and their own software. Unfortunately, after receiving it, the machine has proven completely unusable. From the very beginning, it fails to work properly. It won't start reliably, has constant connection issues, and the advertised auto-focus and camera features do not function as described. Attempts to use it with official software or LightBurn result in failures, leaving me with what feels like an expensive piece of electronic waste that cannot perform any engraving or cutting tasks. The biggest frustration is the customer support. Because the support team is based in China, I have to wake up in the middle of the night (early morning hours) almost every day to communicate with them. While they do reply, the process is slow and repetitive — they ask for the same information multiple times, suggest basic resets, or remote in, but the core issues remain unresolved after weeks. This has wasted a huge amount of my time and energy. I bought this machine expecting to use it for real projects, but it has been nothing but trouble since day one. I hope Monport can provide a proper solution soon, such as a working replacement or full refund, instead of requiring customers to struggle with ongoing troubleshooting across time zones.
