Florida Marlins teal jersey
I ordered a teal Marlins jersey on the day they were released. My size was available, it was not sold out. I also ordered a Florida Marlins low profile cap to match the jersey. I was aware that the jersey would ship at a later date. Fast forward several weeks, I receive an email stating my jersey was delayed, which is not a big deal. I then check the order a few nights later and it says it had been cancelled. If I had not checked again I would still be under the impression that my order was on track to arrive. I call customer service and they explain that the jersey was oversold and there is no method for tracking stock in real time. Customer service reps Valerie and Carlos proceeded to tell me I was not fast enough and another customer “beat” me to it. They only offered me a 30% coupon for my trouble. Also, their system conveniently goes down while they are on the phone with me. I demanded to speak with a supervisor while speaking with Valerie. After many attempts, I finally spoke to Eric who told me he could not answer why my order was taken when obviously there wasn’t any stock available. Eric was great and answered my questions and offered me a 50% coupon. I have read many reviews that overselling has happened multiple times. I have literally spent thousands of dollars with Fanatics and I am leery to spend another cent with them. Bottom line… no separate email telling me that my order had been canceled and not removing the jersey sizes that sold out. My situation is misleading at best and bad business. Come on Rubin, you can do better.
