I am very disappointed with Abebooks
I am very disappointed with Abebooks. I placed an order for a book set, a total of 8 books on 4/5/2026, but I received 1 of the 8 books only. I emailed the seller through Abebooks.com, no response. I tried to open the seller's page, the website said there is no such page, this is totally a scam, the seller just closed his account. Then I requested a refund. Abebooks just simply told me they have notified the seller of my request and told me to return the book back to the seller. They forwarded the seller's email address and address to me and made me directly communicate with the seller if I have further questions. However, I emailed the seller directly and asked him to send me the shipping label, still no response. I have paid 16 dollars for getting the books, now I have to pay again to ship the book back to the seller and not even know if it could end up with another trap, the seller can just take the book but refuse to refund. This is so not fair to me. There are no protections for the buyers. Abebooks is doing a terrible job!
