Misleading $69 Flight Turned into a $350 Nightmare with eSky
I booked a flight from Corfu to Athens through eSky because the advertised price was only $69. I completed the booking and payment, but when I checked my bank transaction, I was shocked to see the charge was over $350. There were multiple extra fees added that were never clearly disclosed beforehand. I canceled the reservation within 24 hours. The first agent told me only $150 would be refunded, but also confirmed that the reservation was canceled and that the refund would take 7–10 business days. I waited, and the refund never came. When I contacted them again by phone, a different agent told me I had never requested a cancellation and that my flight reservation was still active. This directly contradicted what I had been told before. Because I no longer trusted them, I made alternative transportation arrangements. Now I am left wondering whether I actually still have a flight or not and whether I will ever see my refund. I will never use eSky again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this company. In my experience, the pricing was misleading, the customer service was inconsistent, and the entire process felt like a scam.
