Used disk drill to repair my HDD
Due to a power outage, my HDD got partially chunked. That damage locked my entire Steam directory and with it two thirds of my hard drive. I had tried multiple recovery tools that basically held the data hostage. I downloaded Disk Drill, it allowed me access to the damaged files so I could save what I needed and clear what I didn't and now my computer actually works.
