I gave a bad review a couple months ago, after having trouble with linking my banks and credit cards. Then I finally got a credit card added, but it was charging either 3 or 4% transaction fees. Now I figured out that if you just send $USDC to fund your Metal Pay account with, you can then purchase crypto there for only a 0.5% fee, which to me makes a huge difference, as I don’t like 3-4% fees at all. Because I’m used to Coinbase (where I’m a member with free swaps/purchases) and also use Uphold where they charge just $0.99 per transaction. Anyway I like Metal Pay much better now after finding out about the $USDC buying option to save on fees. Would’ve gave a 5 star review, but no one from Metal support told me I could do this before, while I was going back n forth with them about my banks & cards not being accepted when starting out. I’d mentioned about the high fees to support, and they just said Metal Pay offers competitive trading fees. No mentioning that I could simply send $USDC to my account, and then buy for only 0.5% fees, but whatever 🤷♂️
