I was swindled
I bought a whole house water filtration system and a filtration system for my well based irrigation system for $8480.00. My house water is sourced from city water and the water is hard and causing staining of my showers and reduced flow in my pipes. The whole house system is doing fine. The filtration system installed on my irrigation system is not doing what it was promised to do as I was assured by the sales person that the filtration system could filter the water at a flow of 15 gallons per minute and take the iron out of the water. The Leaf water system cannot do either and causes my well pump to cycle until it overheats and shut down. The filtered water from the irrigation system continues to stain my driveway, house and trees with rust. More frustrating is that I cannot leave my irrigation system to just run as I have to reset it when the pump overheats and be woken up by the noise of a cycling pump in the middle of the night when it finally cools off and starts running again. To add insult to injury the manager of the Leaf Water Solutions berates and blames me for attaching the filtration system to an irrigation system while on a call from his tech that is doing a one year maintenance service appointment. I didn't propose the solution of using the filtration system on the irrigation system nor did I install it on the irrigation system. Leaf Home Water Solutions proposed, sold and installed the systems on my house and on the irrigation system with a promise that it would work. I was sold a lie and swindled out of $4,000 for a filtration system that will not work. I am going to report this to the Better Business Bureau and let folks know about this outfit and how crooked they are.
