Not compatible with basic supplier due diligence
We opened a Wiio account to evaluate them as a potential sourcing and fulfillment partner for France/EU Shopify stores. Before connecting our Shopify store, we requested a basic preliminary supplier evaluation. We wanted to confirm sourcing feasibility, estimated product costs, shipping costs to France, delivery timelines, quality control process, packaging options, and compliance documentation where required. This is a standard due diligence step for us before giving platform access to a third-party supplier. The first onboarding email address provided to us was not valid and bounced back. We later received another contact and explained again that we could provide product images, links, and specifications by email for a preliminary review. Wiio refused to proceed without connecting our Shopify store first. The answer we received was: “WE CANNOT HELP IF YOU CANNOT CONNECT YOU STORE, THAT’S THE RULES MY FRIEND.” For our business, this process is not acceptable. We cannot give Shopify access to a supplier before verifying basic sourcing, cost, compliance, QC, and fulfillment conditions. Based on this experience, Wiio is not compatible with our supplier validation process.
