Exceptional personalized support
My 15-year-old rising junior daughter signed up for Crimson in May 2026. We have done an extensive search looking at college application support companies big and small, before committing with Crimson. I must say, I attended about 6 Crimson workshops on various college prep topics and that is how our journey began. The sales experience with the intake coordinator was professional, timely, caring and I felt like Christie really understood my daughter and her goals. She recommended a couple of levels of support and was not at all pushy but rather answered questions diligently and promptly, allowing our family to make the decision. She helped us find an incredible strategist, Jermaine. Jermaine has the perfect combination of steadiness, support, guidance, care, creativity, and all while getting business done with the perfect amount of firmness. He has truly connected with my daughter, and they are on a great path of mentorship and learning over these first several months of the program. Jermaine supported her with a great capstone project mentor and was instrumental in helping us pivot when ideas changed about the project my daughter was going to do. Jermaine is thoughtful and makes the program a true mentorship rather than just checking off boxes for college applications. Our account manager is Kyle, and I cannot say enough great things about him also! Kyle is attentive and professional. He is highly organized, meets all timelines and helps to think ahead about services and people who need to get engaged along the way, such as tutoring, SAT prep, art portfolio mentor, research mentor. He is very open to feedback and works hard to make sure the family's needs are well understood and my daughter has the most qualified people in her corner during this important year of development and prep for college. It takes a village to raise a kid, and I feel like with this Crimson team, we truly have it. I think if you are a parent and want to be hands off, Crimson can have your back, but for our family, we are very engaged parents and Crimson welcomes that as well. This flexibility and adaptability to meet each student's unique needs, goals, and family expectations makes Crimson exceptional. I think joining in the summer before 10th grade would have been even more ideal, but certainly we are not too late to the party and very excited to see how this year continues to unfold. Also, if you're searching and get surprised by the program fee, don't be. By the time you add up any smaller "mom and pop" college prep advisor and separately SAT prep and separately tutoring or portfolio or other things, the money all adds up and can exceed what Crimson charges by a mile. If you are in a position to help your kid with college prep and would like to see them flourish into independence and their best version of self, look no further. I am a tough client, and Crimson has exceeded my expectations, and my kid is excited and happy to learn. Thank you, Crimson team.
