Delivery took a month + bad customer service
Delivery took a month, despite website quoting 7-18 days. Customer service poor. I was later told that the quoted shipping time relates only to the courier and does not include any processing time. At time of writing, there is no mention of this additional processing time on the product page/FAQs and, furthermore, to expect customers to accept this unknown duration of processing time demonstrates how little this company prioritises customer service. Company ignored my request for delivery fee refund, despite them not honouring their quoted delivery time. I am glad I didn't pay for expedited delivery. I regret purchasing from this company, despite the product itself meeting expectations so far. My understanding is that this exact same product can be purchased under different brand names. So far I would recommend the product, but you might want to purchase from a different website. Additionally, I submitted this review on their website product page but so far it's not visible. I suspect the company has control over which reviews make it onto the website. Very deceptive and untrustworthy. - Response following business reply: You might want to try providing this level of explanation during email correspondence, rather than after a bad review. While customs may not be in your control, quality of communication is. Hence the one star. Trying to argue your way out of a bad review simply diminishes your credibility further. - Second response: Somehow you still seem to be missing the point. Your communication has been poor, hence the customer experience has been poor. This back and forth isn’t really helping your situation either. If the customs delay had been explained to me earlier and/or the possibly of this delay explained more prominently on your product page, then perhaps we could have avoided all of this. Might be worth thinking about, rather than continuing with your defensive replies.
