privacy and data security
My main concern is data security and privacy. aaPanel is connected to BT Panel in China, and when using this software I need to consider whether the websites managed through the panel, server data, domains, or usage information could be monitored or accessed. Since the company has a Chinese background, I am also concerned about whether local regulations could require the company to provide information about users or websites built with the panel. For a hosting control panel, trust is extremely important because it manages websites, databases, SSL, files, and server access. I would like to see much more transparency about what data is collected, whether any telemetry can be fully disabled, where data is stored, and whether the software has been independently audited. Clear privacy documentation and security audits would make users feel much safer.
