I'm really excited about aaPanel. It's extremely user-friendly, which is a real blessing for a non-professional.
After installing aaPanel, I had a website up and running within 5 minutes! Okay, I had checked out the demo version beforehand.
For years, I’ve been running various VPS servers with Plesk. Plesk has excellent online support and documentation, but I’ve also had serious reservations about its vendor lock-in strategy for just as long. On top of that, I believe they’re affiliated with Amazon, which raised a lot of concerns for me.
Referring to my last line, aaPanel mainly has to contend with the prejudices in our region that we’ve learned about China. After all, China can’t be trusted (that’s what they keep hammering into us).
aaPanel deserves better than our prejudice! Great platform!
My main concern is data security and privacy. aaPanel is connected to BT Panel in China, and when using this software I need to consider whether the websites managed through the panel, server data, domains, or usage information could be monitored or accessed. Since the company has a Chinese background, I am also concerned about whether local regulations could require the company to provide information about users or websites built with the panel.
For a hosting control panel, trust is extremely important because it manages websites, databases, SSL, files, and server access. I would like to see much more transparency about what data is collected, whether any telemetry can be fully disabled, where data is stored, and whether the software has been independently audited. Clear privacy documentation and security audits would make users feel much safer.
Alternative cpanel for free using.
Since 2021, i using this panel is good and stable community, their give trial for a yeas and now still using for fun build but license to kinda expensive, so im stand on free version.
My experience with this control panel was extremely poor. The system is plagued by bugs and an unnecessarily complex design, resulting in a disorganized and messy user experience.
Finally, a Linux panel that doesn't look like it's from 2005.
I've been using aaPanel for about a year now. Hands down, this is the best User Interface (UI) in the free panel market. It makes managing a VPS feel like using a modern SaaS app—the file manager and code editor are fantastic, and the "one-click" install for stacks (LAMP/LNMP) actually works as advertised. It saves me so much time compared to configuring everything via SSH.
However, I can't give it 5 stars due to security concerns. The track record with vulnerabilities (like the recent RCE issues) and the lack of transparency regarding the software "phoning home" makes me hesitant to use this for mission-critical client sites or enterprise work.
Fast and Vast
I have tried several paid and free panels, but I find aapanel have a lot of functions and it is free! Inside the panel is another good thing, it has very good UI, UX and fast. But I still have big question about its reliability and support. About two months I use this tool, and I am happy with it. The support is good too.
Now I'm sure to upgrade for paid version. But I agree with the several reviews here, why this tool doesn't have monthly pricing with cheaper one. I hope they could add this option as soon as possible.
Thanks
aaPanel has been incredibly helpful and efficient.
Their support team responded quickly and guided me through my issue with patience and clarity.
The panel itself is powerful, easy to use, and perfect for managing servers of any size.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly hosting control panel!
