I've worked with several control panels over the years, and aaPanel has easily been one of the best discoveries. The installation is fast, the interface is clean and intuitive, and the features included in the free version are more than enough for most projects.

I almost made the fatal mistake of buying Lifetime! Fortunately, I gave up on that for good! I prefer an ISPconfig or a KeyHelp! I think I'll stick with KeyHelp and finish with aapanel for good! Their support is terrible, the aapanel forum is worse than China and North Korea.. maximum censorship and they don't accept any criticism ONLY if you rave about them.. just like the 2 communist powers! You know where aapanel can go! Never again! In time aapanel selling SSL certs in aapanel included Lets Encript free ssl stoped working automatic renewal! Why? Because aalamel payed certs not interres aapanel users... I recommend that anyone who wants to get acquainted with aapanel now not even think about it! Avoid it!

Feeling Deceived by aaPanel's Changes to Lifetime Plan

I purchased the “aaPanel Lifetime Plan” three months ago, trusting that it would include unrestricted access to all features as advertised. At the time, there was no mention of any limitations, and it was clearly promised that the plan would cover everything without additional charges. Now, with the recent updates, a sending limit has been added to the mail server, and users are expected to pay to extend this limit. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a breach of trust. The lifetime plan should honor its original promise—unrestricted features without hidden fees. This change raises serious concerns: Transparency: Why were lifetime plan users not informed beforehand about such a significant change? Future Worries: If aaPanel can add fees to the mail server now, what stops them from introducing similar restrictions or charges for other features in the future? As a customer, I feel deceived. If aaPanel continues to add hidden costs to its so-called lifetime plan, it will only harm its reputation and drive away loyal users. I urge the team to rethink this approach and honor the trust of their customers. Edited: They have removed the fees for Mail. Great now.

This developer uploaded a Ubuntu based image with AAPanel preinstalled and preconfigured to Digital Ocean Marketplace. When contacted on why FTP wasn't working, the developer replied that AAPanel doesn't work on Ubuntu, only CentOS. That's not the only broken part of this platform. I can't even put up one WordPress website because it won't allow any SSL and it also won't allow me to set up an admin user when creating a Wordpress site, so any websites I create are totally inaccessible. The developer did not offer ANY help with any of this, at all. Very cold and dismissive reply. I am now requesting cancellation of my subscription, as well as a refund.

Best cPanel So Far - But Pricy

This in my opinion is the best cpanel i have used, i came from using WEBMIN cpanel, which i am slowly shutting dont now. i had constant security issues with hosted sites both on bluehost and webmin, which i have no been able to close by moving to aapanel. they have thought out a lot of details, security , ease of use , Tool, backups, disaster recovery, accessibily e.t.c, . It even has Docker and Mail hosting features, one button Wordpress deployment e.t.c. Feels like they reviewd other cpanel and improved on all their flurs to develop aapanel, whch i admire in them. i see other reviews saying it might not be ready for production, i dont nessesary agree with those opnion , any rating below 3 star is a user ignorance review in my opninon. For many years i was using Webmin/Bluehost for production, but now i am using aapanel and its better so it must be ready for production use. this is base on Debian/ubuntu OS by the way, not sure of other OS's like Centos The only flaw is the pricing model. i think the monthly price on many of the plugins need revising...its way too high when you caculate how much you spending per year it's ridiculus. also i think they should offer life time for plugins , aapanel you will make more money by doing so in the long run and gain more customers. Other than the above mentioned flaw, aapanel team seems to be very active, updates are realsed often to address bugs and when no bugs they are still working in the background on improving and optimizing and even releasing new features that other cpanels don't offer. This Pro-activeness actracts me to their product. keep up the good work Regards

Hello, I've had this gentleman 2 times already. So far nothing but disaster. 1) After deleting all backups and websites, the disk is still full. So either the aapanel analytics is showing errors or something is wrong there. This problem is often repeated. 2) Once MySQL doesn't work, then NGINX doesn't work. And it keeps repeating. Even reinstalling didn't help. Neither enlarging the server, nor other server providers. Simply the fault is still in aaPanels. 3) Mysql MariaDB doesn't really exist. I failed to install it after 12 attempts. So it's useless. 4) At the beginning everything goes fine, after a couple of hours nginx, mysql and so on doesn't work. It's just unstable and low quality. This is my second experience and thus I don't recommend AApanel. I also had RunCloud, Plesk and others before. And they all worked great. But with AAPanel nothing works as it should!

AApanel was a fantastic control panel when centos 7 was the latest version. But now centos 9 is the latest version. AApanel and all of the other free control panels like cwp, hestia, virtualmin and ispconfig also have not upgraded to centos 9. This is a major problem. AApanel and the others are not making any plans for centos 9 and centos 10. Eventually these free webpanels will all disappear. Their respective forums are nothing more than echo chambers. The only ones in the forums are newbies and a handful of appointed admins who love to censor dissenting opinions by members in the forum.

I don't feel this is ready for live…

I don't feel this is ready for production use. Way to many errors, domains would not verify, help support docs are not really informative on how to resolve anything and basically just couldn't get a single domain to work. Everytime I added a domain it failed to verify even though all records were correctly added and at the DNS provider level. NGINX completely stopped working and caused so many issues that we had to reimage our server just to get things back to normal and get rid of this aaPanel. A few times while it was installed it was locking out our root user from Terminal even via Putty, installing NGINX took forever when under cPanel it takes like 1 minute. The login to the admin side is just horrible and it you set an SSL be prepared to get warnings from your browser which will not let you pass through back to the login screen. It looks like it may have some promise in the far future but as a working control panel on a live server no way would I ever trust this thing. No multiple account support or root isolation either that I could see, weak firewall, though they do want you to pay $200 to upgrade to an NGINX WAF but come on with better firewall options available for far less who in their right mind would pay that? I think we will stick with cPanel as it just works and we have never had issues with adding domains, never had NGINX fail to start, plus well it's just a better product hands down.
