Beware the dread subscription trick
Filterbuy sells quality filters and I have been a customer for a long time. No longer. Several days ago I ordered four large AC filters for $77.00. A few days later, I got an email saying my order was still waiting to be completed. I was puzzled but I opened it and provided the credit card information it requested. I soon got a confirmation that I had bought four more filters for another $77. When I called their customer service to inquire, they told me I was signed up for a subscription to get new filters ever three months. That did not happen. I am very careful about the tricks on websites but apparently I did not uncheck some little hidden box. They refused to pay to ship the second shipment back. So, goodbye Filterbuy. I'll buy them from a vendor who doesn't play stupid games.
