Extremely disappointed – Lost 6,000+ messages and Apple doesn't care
I’ve been a loyal iCloud+ subscriber for 4 years, trusting Apple to keep my data safe. Now, thanks to a major sync error, I’ve permanently lost thousands of important messages. My settings show 6,319 messages in the cloud, yet my phone shows only 4. Apple Support (Case 102894138710) admitted this is a known internal error but told me there is no way to recover my data and that I should just 'wait' for a future software update that might not even fix it. I’m done. Losing years of personal and professional communication because of their service failure is unacceptable. They have officially lost me as a customer. Do not trust them with your critical backups
