Owner neglect - a week stay on Glen Lake
We had a week stay on Glen Lake in June 2026, at a VRBO/Evolve property that promised a great location with amenities. However we arrived to find outside trash cans overflowing with garbage and more in the entry garage. The inside was not well cleaned, finding dirty dishes in the dishwasher and on shelfs. It took four adults within our group to clean the house before we felt comfortable placing food in the refrigerator and assigning bedrooms for our guests. The windows were plentiful lakeside but dirty inside and out. The grill needed intensive cleaning. We completed a survey via VRBO for this site after our stay, yet no reviews appear on the listing so let this be a warning to not book this location until it gets some upkeep by the owner. Our contact through their housekeeping service had just received their cleaning contract the day of our arrival and could not complete what would have taken 2 days to make it right. Evolve has certainly not respond to our well documented review and apparently doesn’t care about the false advertising of this home
