Booked a flight from Vancouver to Kona-SCAMMED!
Booked a flight from Vancouver to Kona, got confirmation by email. Then the dreaded phone call the tickets you bought were overbooked by the airline and you have to go on "stand by "or pay more money DOUBLE!!...... sound familiar?? I then told them i wanted a refund.... then the runaround started no was the answer, but the law says 24hours and their policy states that a requested refund by phone call will be honored.....wrong! I got online with a United Rep the next morning after repeated failed attempts to get my situation resolved as time was running out, and requested a refund through the airline. Thank God the Fare daddy rep had not got the E-Ticket confirmed by the airline so United was able to stop the process in its tracks as no authorization had been initiated. The Faredaddy rep came back on the phone and told me she had to call United to see if they could get a refund..... another stall tactic. I had informed her what I had done, and she proceeded to hang up on me.... classy! Stay away from this company they are predators, stick with Expedia or check the reviews first before hitting the BOOK button. go straight to the airline if they refuse to give you a refund and lock and cancel your credit card right away as I did. Zero stars for this clown car of a company!!
