**1 Star** My experience with ZipRecruiter was a complete waste of time. I tried several times to post a job, but it was simply too expensive for my budget. I knew they offered a 2-day free trial, but I wasn't interested because you still have to enter your credit card information, and I didn't think two days would be enough to evaluate the service. Later, I received a promotional mail with what looked like a special code to try the platform. I got excited, thinking it was a different offer, so I went through the entire job posting process again, entered all the job details, and got to the final step, only to find it was the exact same 2-day free trial that anyone can get. The promo code didn't provide any additional benefit. I don't understand why they would send an mail with a code if it doesn't actually change anything. It was just a waste of my time. To make things worse, customer service was completely unhelpful. I tried resolving the issue through live chat and even called them, but no one made any effort to address my concern. The only thing they seemed interested in was getting me to buy one of their plans. Very unprofessional. If you're looking to post jobs, I'd recommend using Indeed instead. Save yourself the time and frustration. I'm sure they'll respond with a polite, generic reply like they do to every negative review, but I don't think there's anything they can say that will change my opinion after this experience.
