Really disappointed with experience
Really disappointed with the experience. Purchased a g-shock via the NZ “.co.nz.” Website, put in my address paid and that was fine. THEN a day later I’m told to pay extra for postage as they calculated my address wrong. Did that. THEN after the parcel shipped, 2 days later I got another email and had to pay MORE, as it turns out the watch came from Singapore so had to pay import tax!! Nowhere in the purchase process was I told this and it all presents as a local “.co.nz” site, so thought all costs would be sorted. Felt like I got nickel ‘n’ dimmed, and I should have payed more but bought from a proper NZ shop in the mall. Lesson learnt, CityWatches felt like a a low-key rip off and not a smooth process
