STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY! I heard about Lumiquor through their Facebook ad. It went on and on about dogs with lumps and how their product was uniquely formulated to shrink those lumps and greatly enhance the dog's lifespan and overall wellbeing. Despite feeling like it sounded too good to be true, I stupidly decided to place an order with them -- my 14yo dog had a lot of lumps and bumps and had been declining cognitively and physically over the previous few months and had gotten worse within the past week or two before I ordered these. I saw that they boasted their complete 90-day money-back guarantee, so I figured it was worth it to at least try them out and see if they helped him at all, and if they didn't, I could at least get my money back. I knew it sounded too good to be true, but I was so worried about my best friend that I took the chance. I didn't think to just do a simple Google search to see reviews about them, and that's on me -- although I have to say that they're clearly targeting dog-lovers whose animals are doing poorly and who will likely do anything to help them get better, so that part is pretty disgusting, honestly. Anyway, I placed the $120 order, "Buy 3 Get 3 Free," which claimed that the price would've been $300 otherwise. After placing the order, I went back to look at the products, and suddenly I see the same item offered at a different rate (way cheaper than the price I'd just paid a minute earlier). That irked me, but oh well, I figured 'what's done is done,' and I could always return the stuff for a full refund if it didn't work (that's what they claimed, anyway). Unfortunately, I placed the order on April 9th, and 36 hours later, my sweet old boy passed away in my arms. I emailed Lumiquor the next day to see if I could cancel the order before it shipped, but they said that it was already in transit and couldn't be cancelled. I had assumed when I ordered these that they would arrive within a few days to a week of the order. Once he passed, I figured, okay, I'll just start the return and refund process right when it arrives so that I can get my money back, since then I had to pay for cremation costs. These things didn't arrive until May 2nd, because apparently they're shipped from China or somewhere. If I'd known that at the beginning, I never would've ordered them (for a few reasons). I emailed Lumiquor again to explain the situation and ask for a full refund, and they emailed back with a counter offer of a partial refund, where I could keep the items, to avoid the return process. I asked how much the partial refund would be, and they said 30%!! Of a $120 order that I had to wait almost an entire month to receive! I responded saying no thank you, I'd rather have the full refund (obviously) and asked how to go about starting the return process. They responded with yet ANOTHER counter offer, this time of 50%. Again, I said no thank you, I want the entire 100% refund, how can I start the return process? After apologizing for the frustration this has caused, they gave me another BS offer: "We understand your request for a full refund. That said, we do want to resolve this fairly for you. As a goodwill gesture, we can offer a 75% refund, and you may keep the product." 75% is better than nothing, but I still wanted the full refund, especially since I no longer needed the product and wouldn't even feel safe giving it to my other dog or reselling it just because it was now obvious to me that this company is a total scam and almost certainly doesn't have safe products. After finally getting the message that I wanted the full refund, they gave me an address to return the product to (which turns out to be some random house in Nowhere, USA?), and said, "Once the package has been sent, all we need from you is proof of shipment to this return address, and we will be happy to issue your full refund immediately." I then tried to clarify that I would get the refund once I *shipped* the item, and they responded with, "Yes — once we receive the returned item and it has been checked in, you will be issued a full refund back to your original payment method." Unfortunately, I had a feeling that I would never see the refund if I did that, because I'm sure the package would've gotten "lost in the mail" or some other BS excuse. I asked if they could give me an 80% refund now, then once they receive the item, they could give me the remaining 20%. I never heard back from them. I finally emailed them again the other day (July 1st) to ask the same question, and they said, "After reviewing your request, the best we’re able to offer in this case is a 75% refund, which you may accept without needing to return the product. We’re unable to process an 80% split refund option or partial staged refunds." It looks like that's my only option now, so I'm trying that, but honestly, I'll be surprised if I get even $1 returned.
