A very shady company.
A very shady company. As a new user, I found an instrument that I was interested in. When I attempted to send the Seller a message, I was informed I needed to create an account. Okay, that's reasonable. Then, I had to confirm my email address. Again, not an unreasonable request. After doing so, I sent my message. Ten minutes later, I received notice that my account was suspended, with no messaging capability, until I put a credit card and phone number on file. I also noticed that they had recaptioned my message as being from "Don's Gear Shop" when no such thing exists - it was just from me, an individual. So , Red Flags waving, I checked some online reviews and sure enough, they have a host of very negative experiences reported. The final insult was when I followed the online instructions to delete my account, and received a reply that they would not do so UNTIL I PROVIDE THEM WITH MY CREDIT CARD AND PHONE NUMBERS!!! Buyer Beware ... this outfit is shady.
