I contacted the TruGreen office in Kingsport, TN and signed up for the TruYou package for fertilization and weed control. Summer at the local office quoted a price, we agreed on it, and she assured me that a technician would call ahead with a service window and complete an on site assessment during the first visit. None of that happened. The technician showed up unannounced, left without contacting me, and never completed the promised assessment — even though my property has locked gates. For a first time customer, this level of disregard is unacceptable. Summer also gave me her direct number and encouraged me to call or text anytime with questions. That turned out to be completely false. She repeatedly disconnected calls without speaking, sent me straight to voicemail, and ignored every voicemail and text message I left. There was no communication, no follow through, and absolutely no professionalism. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone to avoid TruGreen entirely. They did not deliver what they promised, and they did not even provide the basic courtesy of communication.
