Worst support experience of my life
Stay far away from DigiCert. They ran a textbook scam on my new business and stole nearly $1,000 USD from me. On April 18th, 2026, I bought their EV package for $996 USD, completely unaware that I wasn't even eligible for it. DigiCert completely ignored my order until May 25th. That is when they finally emailed me to say I needed to be in business for over 3 years and sign a mountain of paperwork. Since I just started my business, I obviously couldn't do that. When I immediately tried to refund the package so I could just get a standard OV Certificate instead, I found out I was locked out. DigiCert intentionally waited over 30 days to review my application just so they could run out the clock on their 30-day refund policy. They let me buy a product they knew I couldn't use, and then used their own slow response time to trap my money. Over the last 3 months, I have placed 3 phone calls, sent 5 emails, and opened countless support tickets. Their response? Complete and total silence. I have been completely ghosted. Never in my life have I experienced such garbage support from a company. Do NOT believe a single word they say about having the "best support on the market." Go with literally any other company because anyone else will actually reply to you. These people are unethical scammers.
