I just bought a custom 4 string folding bass from Makeev Guitars. I live in the USA, so the item was sent by international mail. It arrived in about 7 days after it was shipped in perfect condition. I ordered stainless steel frets, a brass nut, Makeeve’s 3 stage active preamp paired with a Seymour Duncan MM style Humbucker. This bass has great, fast, low action and a great voice! I was looking for a decent quality travel bass. This one is so good it may become my primary instrument. It compares, in some ways exceeds, my Ernie Ball MM Stingray.
