Fake size guide measurements. No returns.
I ordered an XL trench coat based on the size guide and measurements provided. It stated the sleeve to be 28.8 inches. When I received it, the sleeve measured at 24 inches when measured from shoulder as instructed on their size guide. I emailed them asking to return it and they just wasted my time saying they were going to ask the manufacturer for the measurements - whatever, that doesn’t change the fact that the item I bought measured different than advertised!! Then they came back saying that the manufacturer measures the arm from the NECKLINE, which is completely unheard of. I measured it from the neckline and it was still two whole inches shorter than their listed stated. Sent photos of my measuring tape on the garment and they’re just not responding now. When I get time I’m going to report them to the relevant government bodies, it doesn’t matter what your manufacturer says the measurements are, it’s your responsibility as the retailer to ensure the information for the consumer is correct. I am entitled to a refund on this basis regardless of sale status. Appalling. EDIT: to respond to their reply - nice way to avoid taking responsibility for what you admit was false advertising. the difference was 2.8 INCHES, not 1-2 centimetres, and the size guide on the item says to measure from the point of the sleeve hill, which is not the neckline. You have not sent me any information for a return, and you should be sending a prepaid shipping label. More lies and negligence from the fraudulent company. In the future you can respond to your customers emails instead of leaving them hanging and only responding when threatened with reporting to 12315 consumer affairs in China. Anyone else they rip off should report them too.
