Good product; marginal directions
Good product; lacking support. The ordering process was smooth and easy and the product arrived when it was expected. I ordered a motorized, darkening blind for a skylight. I wanted to see how the blind was installed before I bought it but I could only find an installation video on You Tube. It ended up that the design had changed to include an overhang on the frame so my measurements weren’t accurate. I was going to mount it closer to the skylight so I took the dimensions there, but with the overhang I had to mount it away from the skylight and flush with the ceiling where the width dimension was longer. I’m handy so I got it to work but there are light gaps around the outer edge of the blind. I never did find a video produced by Selectblinds that showed how to install it, and the directions are lacking and the pictures on the directions are poor and lacking sufficient details. In general, the product seems of good quality but the rest was marginal.
