I chose PuppySpot because I believed they were a reputable company that stood behind the health of the puppies they sell. Unfortunately, my experience was devastating. I brought my puppy home, and he died from a highly contagious disease within 24 hours. Losing him was heartbreaking. What made the situation even more difficult was the way my claim was handled afterward. Although PuppySpot has offered to refund the purchase price, they have refused to reimburse the veterinary testing they required to process the claim and have declined to refund the sales tax I paid. In addition, I lost the money spent on travel to bring my puppy home and had to throw away all of the puppy’s supplies because of the contagious nature of the disease. The financial losses have been significant, but they are nothing compared to the emotional trauma of losing a puppy so quickly. I expected compassion, accountability, and support from a company with PuppySpot’s reputation. Instead, I was left feeling disappointed by how this situation was handled.
