These hinges hold up to welding
I used the 4'x4'x hinges to enable me to build custom hinges that are deeper than regular. I was able to weld a 1" extension on them to allow a shop entry door to swing flat against the inside wall. I didn't want to buy bigger hinges 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and require a lot of chisel work on the door and casing. The hinges took the heat of MIG welding with no warping. The now 4" x 5" hinges painted matte black look factory made and fixed my short-swinging door. Nice heavy-made hinges guys, much appreciated.
