No support from Expedia,
I had a terrible experience booking through Expedia. I booked a hotel that was rated and priced as a 3-star property, but the reality was complete trash—barely half a star quality at best. When I called Expedia customer service to complain, report the misrepresentation, and request a refund, they completely washed their hands of the situation. Their agent told me they couldn't issue a refund because "the hotel already has the money." What is the point of booking through a travel agency if they offer zero support when things go wrong? Expedia pushed all responsibility onto the hotel, and the hotel pushed it right back onto Expedia. Nobody took accountability, and I was left stranded with no resolution. Never, ever use Expedia to book your travel. If anything goes wrong with your reservation, you will be left completely without customer support. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.
