Sour first impressions, amazing follow-up service
My first experience with this brand was frankly atrocious. Customer service ghosted me after saying they would email me with a follow-up to my request (writing a lower price on the parcel so as to avoid having me pay a large import tax). I ended up ordering anyway since there weren't any good alternatives from other brands that fit my wrist size, only for one of the straps to be in a discontinued stitching style from 2024 and have noticeable QC issues. Why then is this a 4-star review? Upon my initial negative review, Delugs reached out and offered a free replacement strap after having received proof of the defects. The strap has not yet arrived, so I will update this review again if any issues arise, but it stands true that this brand is dedicated to ensuring that the customer is left satisfied. Needless to say, this could have all been avoided with proper communication and quality control, but it's remarkable that they reached out to right their wrongs in the first place. As for feedback, I think it's extremely disingenuous to have both the old and new stitching styles in the same stock pool, sold at the same price, as it's essentially a QC lottery for the customer. And this is more of a nitpick, but the customer should always be asked first whether or not they want to create a return order for a defective strap when receiving a new one. This is because, in certain countries such as mine, it's an exceedingly complicated process to package and send goods overseas, to the point where it's better to call it off entirely.
