We reserved a hotel for an event we were working, anticipating the need for accommodations, particularly as it coincided with enrichment week at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Our required arrival time for the event was 3 PM, with check-in also scheduled for 3 PM. However, as we needed to be present for setup, we proceeded to the event venue directly. Given that we had received confirmation of our room reservation, we did not anticipate any issues. After the event we went to the hotel no remind you we came from Pa and it was 12am in the morning we just needed a place to lay our head. They told us they had no rooms available also that the fourth floor was closed and they were renovating now remind you we spent over 300 dollars for 4 nights because we were staying the whole weekend. After contacting various hotels, we were unable to secure a room within the city. We had to travel to Akron, which was a 30-minute drive, and paid an additional $156 for a single night. Then on top of that we had to secure another hotel which was a dump smelled terrible, there were fleas, no coffee pot, no TV in the living room, beds and towels were filthy. There was so much drug and party activity you would think it was a free for all. We paid another 276 for 3 nights a total of 700 some dollars for 3 hotel. I have other reviews saying the same things we were saying. I want our money back I reported to the better business bureau I am also going to report you for not researching your hotels better for people who were coming out of town this is totally unacceptable. Then Expedia told us we cancelled and couldn't get our money back which we didn't as you can see in the above paragraph. I want this resolved if not I will go hirer maybe even involve the police in this matter.
