Longview to Shreveport
Our trip started in Longview, TX and going to Shreveport, LA. The station was closed on Sundays so we waited outside. Our departure time was 10:45 am. At about 10:25 a bus pulled up and some people got off. The driver did not make any announcements as to where he was headed. There was no indication on the screen on the bus. The driver got back on the bus and drove away. All indications on the Greyhound app said our bus was on-time. At 10:45, no bus. At 11:00, still no bus and still saying on-time on the app. At about 11:05 a bus shows up and it's the same one from earlier. The driver gets out and tells us we're lucky he came back for us! He mentioned something about playing on our phones instead of getting on the bus! I should mention a couple showed up after the first time that bus was there and another person was waiting as we were and didn't know it was our bus the first time he was there. That couple would have missed it all together. Who would expect the bus to be there 20 minutes early and not plan to wait until the scheduled departure time? The driver was sort of rude. It made it seem like it was our fault and he was doing us a favor.
