I was attached by the bad guys
I was attached by the bad guys. There were alarms going off and scareware announcing my computer was locked. I chatted with cybersecurity and it verified the number on the web page was a scam and walked me through the remediation. Windows Defender kept coming back with no threats detected as the process developed. After the remediation was finished the chat directed me to Malwarebytes and I found one threat detected, one threat quarantined. Malwarebytes quarantined the threat and Windows Defender never saw it! How cool is that!!! Good job guys!!!
