Title: Unacceptable service: Unauthorized charges and severe structural/property negligence
I am writing this review to warn others about major service failures and unfair billing practices by PODS.First, they charged me an extra month of storage fees entirely due to their own scheduling issues. I proactively requested that they pick up my container before the new billing cycle started. However, PODS claimed their drivers were "too busy" to accommodate the request on time, and they forced me to pay for an extra month anyway. Customers should not be financially penalized for PODS' lack of driver availability.Second, I visited the facility to access my container and experienced an alarming safety and property issue. The container door was completely jammed and would not open. When a PODS employee finally assisted us in forcing it open, we discovered why: the driving or handling was so careless that my furniture inside was completely upside down, jamming the mechanism.PODS lacks operational reliability, proper handling care, and fair customer service. I demand a full refund for the extra monthly storage fee and compensation for any damaged furniture. Avoid this company if you value your time, money, and belongings.
