When I first started using Honeybook it…
When I first started using Honeybook it was descent. I'm not sure what has happened to the product and the company but it has been nothing short of a nightmare, I wish I never partnered with them and chose an alternative CRM. I have major problems on a daily or weekly basis and few issues are resolved. Unfortunately, most of the issues affect the client experience and make me and my company look unprofessional and I've literally been able to track lost revenue/clients directly related to the malfunctioning tech of Honeybook. To make matters worse, you're always speaking to a bot until you get through to a human. Then you have to reexplain everything and then they tell you to do a, b, d, and get back to them. So they give you a bunch of homework/troubleshooting to do, they ask you to basically recreate the issue and screen record the whole process. It is so time consuming and annoying. That is not how things should work. I am the client, I told the company the issue, they should resolve it. They immediately send the ball back to your side of the court and now you're spending more time and energy trying to fix the problem that their tech created and that you're paying for. Then they have the nerve to raise the price unannounced. Same tech, same problems, more expensive. I recommended a few people to honeybook and they're hitting me up with problems and questions and I feel so bad because at the time my experiences with honeybook were for the most part positive. Now I just warn everyone to steer clear at all costs and recommend 17hats or literally anyone else. It's been on my to-do list to switch over to another CRM but I just haven't had the energy or time but with every new glitch, error, malfunction and then the price raise, I feel more motivated than ever to start the process. I can not emphasize enough how bad this platform is and the response you get. This tech should help me make money or at least stay organize and it has literally cost me money/clients. Horrific Platform, avoid at all costs.
