Subscription without consent , true scam.
I signed up to view my report for $.99 USD. After reading countless reports online of people being charged by being enrolled in a subscription unawares, I had to jump through hoops to find my information and see that, indeed, I was signed up for a subscription. Nowhere did it state how much I would be paying for said subscription. If this information was contained in the fine print upon paying for my 99 cent report, it was not evident, and I am someone who carefully reads through things and is very cautious. Perhaps it was structured in an intentionally misleading way. The support is AI, by the way- that is why you will see many reviews describing the unfailing “friendliness” of support agents after emailing them. When I canceled my subscription, it stated that I would not be charged AFTER 8/25; and keep in mind, I paid for a 1 time $1 charge on 8/21, leaving them a 4 day window to fulfill the billing . I can say that whatever this company is doing is unethical, fraudulent, and predatory, they operate mainly out of social media, and I recommend reporting this to the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. The website itself appears to be inaccurate information, to add insult to injury - not clinical valid at all, simply cloning other existing “IQ” tests and heavily reliant on AI. It is our duty to be vigilant about these kinds of misleading “companies” . I recommend blocking your card and having your bank issue a new one . And yes, it may be “nice” that the company “refunds” money that was fraudulently and slyly picked from bank accounts without knowledge and therefore true consent. If it were a matter of a few people being confused, that would be another matter; but no, it appears that this is a consensus confused, with no attempt to remedy the true confusion. What is the functional difference between not telling people you will enroll them in the subscription and charge them monthly upwards of 30 dollars, if it is written in 2 pt font or not at all? And I do believe that the dollar amount was written not at all. Nor was it clear I was going to be enrolled in a subscription. I feel as though I avoided a financial molestation through cancelling my bank card, and am shocked at the amount of these “companies” proliferating on social media.
