Unauthorized IndiGo BluChip Account Created Using My Mobile Number - Is this a security loophole, negligence, or something more serious? Extremely Poor Handling by IndiGo How can an IndiGo BluChip account be created and activated under another person’s name using my mobile number without my knowledge or authorization? BluChip requires OTP verification, so the question is simple: How did this happen? Was an OTP actually verified? I reported this to IndiGo on 27 August 2026 and received Reference ID: 40084884. It has now been more than 48 hours with no proper response. Calling customer support is equally frustrating. I am told that a senior is “busy,” kept on hold for around 30 minutes, and then asked to wait another 2 hours for a callback. The callback never comes. This is a serious account-security and privacy concern, yet IndiGo appears completely uninterested in resolving it. If OTP verification is mandatory, how was another person’s BluChip account activated using my mobile number? Is this a security loophole, negligence, or something more serious?
