Poor quality and terrible warranty service
I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the warranty experience with SelectBlinds. I purchased an expensive motorized woven wood shade, and after only about five or six months of use, the remote stopped working, the shade started sagging badly in the middle, and the internal cord/thread came loose. I have been manually lifting the shade and wrapping the loose cord myself just to use it. I first contacted SelectBlinds about the warranty on July 17. They confirmed that the product was covered and told me my claim had been escalated. It has now been more than six weeks, with multiple follow-ups, long delays, and still no resolution. The response I eventually received didn’t even address how they were going to resolve the defective product, and after I clarified the issue again, I received no response. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. A warranty means very little if you can’t actually get the company to honor it when the product fails. I chose SelectBlinds after seeing many positive videos, but I really wish I had known what the product quality and warranty experience could be like before making such an expensive purchase.
