Unfair Charge for System Error Cancellation
I am extremely disappointed with foodpanda's customer service. My order (Order ID: t8rj-2635-4vfc) was cancelled by foodpanda due to their own system error. However, foodpanda charged my card RM 24.70 and strictly refused to issue a refund. In the chat transcripts, support agents (Rachel & Eric) explicitly acknowledged that the order was "cancelled due to an error" by their team. Yet, they refused to refund or escalate the case, hiding behind "system limitations." Charging a customer for a cancelled order caused by platform error is completely unacceptable and an unfair trade practice. I have already filed a chargeback with my bank (UOB) and submitted a formal complaint to KPDN (Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living). I demand a full refund immediately.
