The T2C box for Tesla works very well to get CarPlay on a Tesla. Tesla recently updated their software, and it made the T2C box unusable for CarPlay, but I sent an email to Carlinkit, and I got a response back from Estella who was extremely helpful. The instructions were a little complicated, but I was able to upgrade the firmware, and the firmware fixed the problem. One tip for other folks upgrading firmware: use the USB cables that came with the box. I used about 3 or 4 cables that I had lying around and couldn’t get the firmware to install. I then asked ChatGPT for a solution, and it suggested using the cables that came with the box. That fixed the problem and I was able to install the firmware.
