Travelling in parts of China. We went on an exhaustive trip to Gansu, Xinjiang and Kazakhstan, part of which in northern Xinjiang was organised by Asia Odyssey Travel. Runny's overall planning and associated activities were excellent. She always replied to our preliminary questions quickly and used her company to buy train tickets. On the trip, our guide Amanda was quick and efficient. There were a lot of shuttle buses etc to catch which would have been confusing without her expertise. Maybe back in the van, she could have explained more about the cultures behind what we saw. The van used was comfortable and the driver excellent. He had to seek out parking spots and drove safely. One request for the future: supply a map for each traveller showing, in English, the route and briefly the highlights to see. John and Jian
