Title: Conflicting IP location results and no satisfactory resolution I purchased a new US proxy from OwlProxy for long-term management of our company’s TikTok account, which promotes products from our own TikTok Shop. I needed a reliable connection with a consistent US location. After configuring the proxy, I checked the public exit IP and confirmed that it matched the exit IP shown in my order. However, different IP-checking services returned conflicting information. IPinfo identified the address as Los Angeles, California, while BrowserLeaks identified the same address as Singapore and classified its usage as Corporate/Hosting. I refreshed the results and disconnected and reconnected the proxy. The same exit IP and conflicting location results remained. I understand that IP geolocation databases can disagree. These results alone do not prove the server is physically in Singapore. However, they raised a legitimate concern about whether this product was suitable for my business needs. When I contacted the seller, I was told there was nothing wrong, and my refund request was refused. That left the actual suitability issue unresolved. My complaint is about product transparency and after-sales support. A working connection does not resolve questions about location and connection type. Customers should receive a clear explanation of what they are buying, what limitations apply, and what remedy is available when verification results conflict. Based on this experience, I will not renew or purchase again.
